Meet your Instructor

Melody has been a Professional Hoof Care Practitioner since 2011, and has been teaching Hoof Anatomy, Dissection, and Trimming Clinics since 2022.

When Melody began studying hoof care in 2010, she was already 32 years into a life alongside horses and was amazed by how little she knew about horse and hoof health before then. Since then, Melody has trimmed thousands of hooves, and stands firmly behind the philosophy of holistic hoof care; every part of the horse is interconnected, and the hoof can only be explained in reference to the whole horse.

Now, it is Melody’s mission to advocate for horse health, wellness, and soundness through owner education. The equine world is undergoing a major transformation and awakening that Melody is grateful to be a part of.
